The website 411.com allows you to look up information about people and businesses. You can search for someone by their name, look up phone numbers, check addresses, or find information on businesses. The site includes a variety of personal details about individuals, such as their addresses, phone numbers, family members, and dates of birth. It’s very important to take steps to remove your information from this site to keep your details private. You can choose to have your information removed automatically, or you can do it yourself.

  1. Navigate to 411.com and enter your full name and the city and state where you live. Then click the magnifying glass icon to begin your search.

  2. Locate your profile from the results and click on the View Details button. (Disregard anything listed under “whitepages” as it will redirect you to a different site.)

  3. Verify the information in your profile and then copy the profile URL listed in the search bar at the top of the page.

  4. Then navigate to the suppression request page of Whitepages.com here https://www.whitepages.com/suppression-requests. Paste your copied profile URL into the indicated box.

  5. A window will then appear asking you to confirm your information. If it is you select the “Remove Me” button.  If the information is for someone else, select “This isn’t me, take me back.”

  6. In the next window, you will be asked to select a reason for opting out. Pick one and click Next.

  7. You will be asked to provide a phone number. The number you provide will be called to verify your identity. Enter your phone number in the space provided and tick the removal affirmation box. Once you click the Call now to verify button, you will receive a call asking for a verification code. The verification code will appear in a new window after you click Call now to confirm. You will be called immediately after clicking the Call now to verify button, so have the phone number you provided ready.

  8. A new window with your verification code will appear. When you receive a call from Whitepages, enter the verification code as instructed. Once your code is confirmed, your information will be removed from their website.
