Peoplelookup is a website that helps you find personal information about others, including where someone has lived, their contact details, family members, and other public records. Recently, Peoplelookup was bought by a bigger company that does similar work. This is quite common in the industry, and it highlights how important it is to take steps to remove your personal information from such sites as soon as you can. You never know how your information could be used or where it might end up.

1. Navigate to peoplelookup.com and navigate to the bottom of the page. Click Exercise my data privacy rights

2. Select View Public Data Tools and select Manage My Suppression Rules

3. Enter your email address and agree to the terms. Then click continue

4. Navigate to your email and click the verification link

5. Then enter your data of birth, click the verification box and press Continue

6. Then enter your legal name, check the box confirming it and select Continue

7. Then select the profile that matches you and hit continue

8. Verify your identity using a phone number and then click continue

9. Finally select Suppressed in the desired behavior drop down and click save
