Opting out of Yellowpages.com is a smart move if you're looking to better protect your personal information online. While most people recognize Yellow Pages from the old printed directories, Yellowpages.com is the digital version, and it offers more than just business listings. The site allows users to search for both businesses and individuals, making personal information like names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and even age easily accessible. The platform is owned by Thryv, a company that provides digital tools for small businesses. So while having a business listed on the site can be helpful for entrepreneurs, the average person likely doesn’t want their private details available to the public. Taking the time to opt out of Yellowpages.com can help reduce how much of your information is searchable online and is an easy step toward improving your overall privacy.
