While ZabaSearch itself offers free basic searches, any in-depth information—like background checks or public records—redirects you to Intelius, where users can purchase individual reports or subscribe for ongoing access. There are several ways to search on ZabaSearch: by name, by phone number, or using their “free” and “advanced” search tools (which generally return the same type of results). Even without paying, users can often find addresses, phone numbers, and ages. For more detailed reports, Intelius provides information including past and current addresses, all known phone numbers and email addresses, dates of birth, known relatives, employment and education history, social media profiles, marriage and divorce records, criminal history and court records, as well as financial details like bankruptcies, liens, and judgments. Although much of this data is locked behind a paywall, the fact that it’s available at all poses a serious privacy concern. 1. Navigate to Intelius Opt Out Page

2. Click View Public Data Tools and then Manage My Suppression Rules

3. Enter your email, agree to the terms and select continue

4. Navigate to your email and click the Verify Email link provided

5. In the new window enter your date of birth and the verification box and then press continue

6. In the next window enter your first, middle, and last name. Confirm its your legal name and then hit continue

7. Locate your records on the next page and click the circle next to them. Then press continue at the bottom of the page

8. Then select your preferred method of verification and then enter the corresponding contact info. Then press Request Verification Code

9. Enter the verification code you received and then press Continue

10. In the next window select Suppressed from the drop down menu and click Save

11. This completes your opt out process
